CTOnews.com, January 13 (Xinhua)-- BYD unveiled the BYD ATTO 3 limited forest green (Forest Green) at the 2023 New Delhi International Auto Show in India, and the new pure electric sedan seal was also unveiled. After the new E6 and BYD ATTO 3, seals have become another new energy model launched by BYD in the Indian market in the past two years and will be officially launched in the fourth quarter of 2023.

BYD officially entered the Indian passenger car market in October 2022 and launched India's first sports all-electric SUV BYD ATTO 3. The limited edition Forest Green (Forest Green) launched at this auto show sells only 1200 units.

BYD ATTO 3 limited edition forest green for India's new pure electric sedan seals, the overall shape is sharp, the body posture is low, with a sense of movement. In design, the front and rear suspension of the whole vehicle is shorter, the wheelbase is larger, and the wind resistance coefficient of the whole vehicle in aerodynamic design can be as low as 0.219Cd. As an integrator of e-platform 3.0technology, the seal is equipped with CTB battery body integration technology, iTAC technology, rear-drive / four-wheel drive architecture, efficient eight-in-one electric powertrain, and the acceleration time of the four-wheel drive version 0-100km / h is only 3.8 seconds.

BYD's new pure electric sealer CTOnews.com learned that according to the parameters of the domestic version, BYD Seal uses battery body integration (CTB), eight-in-one electric powertrain, heat pump system, booster fast charging and other technologies to provide three endurance versions of the model, the standard endurance model is equipped with 150kW rear motor, the CLTC mileage is 550km; the long-lasting version is equipped with 230kW rear motor, and the CLTC mileage is 700km. Before and after the four-wheel drive performance version, the total power of the motor reaches 390kW and the driving mileage of the CLTC is 650km.

In the BYD exhibition area, attendees can not only get close access to BYD's electric vehicle products, but also experience BYD's ultra-safe blade batteries, e-platform 3.0 and other core technologies.

In 2022, BYD sold more than 1.86 million passenger cars worldwide, an increase of 155.1% over the same period last year. So far, BYD has served more than 3.37 million new energy vehicle owners worldwide.

India's first BYD ATTO 3 will be delivered on January 11, 2023. At present, BYD has a sales network in 21 cities across India, with 24 showrooms. In 2023, BYD plans to expand the number of showrooms in India to 53.

Recently, Sanjay Gopalakrishnan (Sanjay Gopalakrishnan), senior vice president of BYD's Indian subsidiary, said BYD hoped to capture 40 per cent of the Indian electric car market by 2030.
