CTOnews.com, January 12, according to the Wall Street Journal, Salesforce, an American business software company, announced last week that it would cut 10% of its workforce in the future, equivalent to about 8000 employees. Currently, the company disclosed the layoffs at its San Francisco headquarters in a document submitted to the California government.

A total of 752 job cuts will take effect on March 24, Salesforce said in a letter to the California Department of Employment and Development.

The current round of layoffs are expected to be permanent, involving employees at three offices in San Francisco, including 194 general executives and 117 sales and customer service staff, the letter said. and 441 technical and product personnel.

CTOnews.com learned that Salesforce co-founder Marc Benioff said at a staff meeting last Thursday that the company is likely to have more layoffs in the future. Earlier, Salesforce announced 10 per cent job cuts.
