According to Universe, before the release of the fourth-generation Intel Xeon scalable processor, the two sides carried out product adaptation work ahead of schedule. Universe server operating system V20 has now been integrated into and supports the following features of Sapphire Rapids:

Support Intel DSA/IAA

Support Intel PMT

Support Intel SPR Uncore PMU

Support Intel IFS

Support Intel TDX

According to reports, since the strategic cooperation was reached at the beginning of 2021, UniCredit Software and Intel have formed a synergistic effect in technology, ecology, business and other aspects, and desktop-side, server-side and intelligent terminals have cooperated comprehensively.

CTOnews.com learned that the fourth-generation Intel Xeon scalable processor is based on the latest DDR5, PCIe Gen5 and high-bandwidth memory technologies. The new product has up to 60 cores, integrates up to 64GB HBM2e memory, and is fully equipped with Intel advanced matrix extension and Intel data flow accelerator technologies.

Compared to the previous generation, the fourth-generation Intel Xeon scalable processors can increase the average performance per watt of the target workload by 2.9 times with built-in accelerators, saving up to 70 watts per CPU by optimizing the power mode and reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) by 52 to 66 percent with minimal impact on workload performance.
