CTOnews.com, January 12 (Xinhua)-- spurred by the World Cup in Qatar, EA "FIFA Mobile" topped the global mobile game download list in December with 2270 million downloads, according to Sensor Tower store intelligence data. Indonesia is the largest market for the game, accounting for 16.6% of downloads, followed by Brazil with 12.7%.

The complete list of TOP10 downloads of the world's most popular mobile games can be found in the chart. Note: downloads are only for App Store and Google Play, excluding third-party Android markets. Miniclip's SYBO Games "Subway Surfers Metro Parkour" ranks No. 2 with 2240 downloads. India is the game's largest market, contributing 18.1 per cent of downloads, followed by China's iOS market, accounting for 9.4 per cent.

The other three games in the top five are Real Free Soccer "Soccer Super Star", Garena "Free Fire" and "Roblox".

CTOnews.com learned that in December 2022, global mobile games were downloaded 4.85 billion times on App Store and Google Play, roughly the same as in the same period last year. The Indian market ranks No. 1 with 830 million downloads, accounting for 17% of the world's total downloads. The Brazilian market ranked second with 8.6% of downloads, followed by the United States, accounting for 8.4%.

Note: Sensor Tower downloads only count the first installation of App Store or Google Play accounts, and do not repeat the statistics of multiple installations of the same account in different or the same devices. Download data has been merged with multiple versions of the same application, such as Facebook and Facebook Lite.
