In terms of LCD, the market for LCD TV panels is mature and has a large supply, and it is also relatively hard hit by the economy. TrendForce Jibang Consulting expects shipments of LCD TV panels to decline 3.1% year-on-year in 2023, reaching 256 million pieces.

CTOnews.com learned that the report indicates that Chinese mainland regional panel factories are expected to further expand the market share of LCD TV panels to 70.4% in 2023. Among them, BOE, Huaxing Optoelectronics and Huike are still the top three shipments of LCD TV panels in 2023. In terms of panel factories in Taiwan, Qunchuang benefits from the transfer of orders brought by CLP Panda, which is expected to account for about 14.1% of the market in 2023; due to the increase in orders from main customers, the market share of Youda will increase slightly to 5.2%.

In addition, the report expects LG Display's market share of LCD TV panels to decline to 4.6% in 2023; Sharp estimates a market share of 5.7%.
