January 11, according to foreign media reports, several senior executives of Rivian, a US electric vehicle startup, have left in recent months, including Randy Frank, vice president of body and interior engineering, Steve Gawronski, vice president of spare parts procurement, Patrick Hunt, senior director of the strategic team, and Neil Sitron, general counsel.

The departures mark the latest reshuffle at the top of Rivian, while the company has hired new executives to manage the business.

Last October, Rivian hired Diane Lye as the company's first chief information officer (CIO). In addition, the company hired Anisa Costa (Anisa Costa) as the company's first chief sustainability officer.

Founded in 2009, Rivian is an emerging electric car maker whose investors include Ford, Amazon and Cox Motor Co., and is considered one of the most threatening competitors to Tesla.

Over the past year, the company has failed to meet its overall target of producing 25000 cars, in part because of difficulties in obtaining parts. It is reported that the company produced 24337 cars in 2022, only 663 less than its overall target of 25000.

The company said it produced 10020 cars in the fourth quarter of 2022, up 36 per cent from a month earlier, and delivered 8054 vehicles, an increase of 22.3 per cent from a month earlier.
