CTOnews.com, January 11, according to Tianbing Science and Technology, its self-developed 30-ton supplementary combustion cycle liquid oxygen kerosene engine Tianhuo 11 (referred to as "TH-11") has successively completed five 2000-second thermal tests at Tianxiao No. 1 tilt platform and Tianxiao No. 2 vertical test platform of Tianbing Science and Technology Comprehensive Test Center, and the working time of a single engine is more than 7 times the flight mission time.

CTOnews.com learned that in the course of commissioning, "TH-11" was equipped with a flight state rack according to the flight products, and passed the task assessment under many complex working conditions, such as long-range high operating conditions, low inlet pressure start-up, steady-state limit low inlet pressure, 24-hour long-range precooling, supercooled liquid oxygen, cylinder extreme low pressure, limit power supply conditions, long-range swing, wide-range operating condition regulation and mixing ratio regulation, simulated pressure measuring pipeline leakage, and so on.

Through accumulative test run, the accuracy of secondary adjustment of "TH-11" thrust and mixing ratio, the adaptability of wide range inlet parameters, the reliability of long-range operation and the convenience in the use and maintenance of engine products are comprehensively tested. Through the last 600s long-range life test, the high reliability of "TH-11" engine and its good adaptability to mission profile were fully verified, which not only laid a solid foundation for the first flight of Tianbing Science and Technology Tianlong 2, but also marked a new stage of full application and mass production of "TH-11" liquid rocket engine in domestic commercial aerospace field.
