CTOnews.com learned that the DJI RS 3 Mini uses a new all-in-one design with a compact and portable body that can be easily put into a shoulder bag. The fuselage weighs only 795g in vertical mode, about 50% less than RS 3 Pro, and only 850g in horizontal mode.

According to official data, the RS 3 Mini micro-single stabilizer carries up to 2kg and supports up to Sony A7S3 + 24-70 mm F2.8 GM generation lenses, and can carry both full-frame and APS-C single-frame mainstream models.

In addition, in order to meet the needs of vertical screen image creation, the RS series has achieved a breakthrough in the function of original vertical shooting for the first time. Without additional accessories, you can quickly convert the RS 3 Mini standard quick release board to the head vertical arm directly, making it more convenient for shooting short videos such as Douyin. Compared with the traditional "one-click vertical shot" mode, the rotation angle of the head of the RS 3 Mini is no longer limited in the original vertical shot mode, while supporting the use of rocker composition, and can easily achieve flashlight, handstand and other shooting methods.

The RS 3 Mini also features a 1.4-inch touch color screen and a new UI design, which can adjust most functions without App and can be reached at the touch of a common setting. The side of the fuselage is equipped with NATO interface, which supports the installation of portable transfer handles, external supplementary lights, monitors and other accessories. At the same time, the integrated battery handle can bring up to 10 hours of battery life, support for recharging while using, up to 2.5 hours of full charge.

In terms of software, RS 3 Mini adopts the same RS third generation stabilization algorithm as RS 3 Pro. The Bluetooth shutter control function, which made its debut on DJI's flagship stabilizer RS 3 Pro, is also standard with RS 3 Mini.
