The open letter explained that at the beginning of 2019, Leeco reached a contract production cooperation with Nanjing CLP Panda Dongguan Branch for the production of Letv TVs. By March 2022, Nanjing had completed the production and delivery of 390000 Letv TVs, with a cumulative cooperation amount of 430 million yuan. Has been using the "down payment + full pick-up" model.

According to the open letter, in many communication meetings between the two sides since July 2020, Leeco solemnly pointed out the problems with the batch of 43-inch and 55-inch LCD screens, and put forward a ban and compensation claims. In August 2020, it was confirmed by the screen analysis report provided by Nanjing CLP Panda and the market tracking results of both sides that the cause of the above quality accident was that the LCD screen quality of the main material was not up to standard. the LCD screen was purchased by Nanjing CLP Panda. According to the contract, Nanjing CLP Panda should provide screen replacement materials free of charge in order to quickly solve user problems, and timely take effective improvement measures to carry out rectification. At the same time to undertake all after-sales costs and compensation for losses.

However, Leeco said that Nanjing CLP Panda not only failed to make progress in terms of product quality, but also failed to fulfill its after-sales obligations and responsibilities in a timely manner.

In an open letter at that time, Leeco said that today, the Nanjing CLP Panda Dongguan branch is about to close, but it is still pushing three obstacles to solve the after-sales problem, refusing to pay the surrogate fee and refusing to discuss a solution. In the process of Leeco's door-to-door negotiations, Nanjing CLP Panda unilaterally proposed once again that it would no longer provide screen change materials for 55-inch accident televisions and would no longer bear any after-sales responsibility on the grounds that it had no resources. Nanjing CLP Panda Dongguan Branch assumed 97% of the orders for the cooperation between the two sides, while the major decision to close the Dongguan branch was never formally notified to Leeco, nor did the factory staff receive the relevant notice.
