According to CTOnews.com news on January 10, financial data show that Acer, a major PC brand, had revenue of 22.892 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 5.082 billion yuan) in December 2022, an increase of 21.1% month-on-month and a decrease of 22.9% from the same period last year.

Acer's consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter was NT $59.848 billion (about 13.286 billion yuan), down 7.8% from a month earlier and 30.8% from a year earlier.

CTOnews.com learned that Acer's consolidated revenue in 2022 was NT $275.43 billion (about 61.145 billion yuan), down 13.7% from a year earlier, affected by the overall downturn in the PC industry.

Acer said that despite weak demand in the PC market, its Vero product line made from recycled materials continued to receive praise, with revenue growing 41.3% month-on-quarter in the fourth quarter. Revenue from non-PC and display businesses contributed 26.3% of total revenue in the fourth quarter, 11.9% of total revenue in 2022 and 21.7% of annual revenue.
