CTOnews.com, January 10, according to Huawei official news, the signing ceremony of OpenAtom OpenHarmony (hereinafter referred to as "OpenHarmony") ecological enabling was successfully held in Shenzhen on January 9, 2023.

Under the guidance of the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation, Huawei signed an OpenHarmony ecological enabling cooperation agreement with 24 partners, covering finance, education, transportation, energy, government, Anping, manufacturing, health, radio and television, telecommunications and other industries, jointly promoting the prosperity and development of OpenHarmony ecology.

CTOnews.com learned that OpenHarmony is an open source project incubated and operated by the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation (OpenAtom Foundation). The goal is to build a framework and platform for an intelligent terminal device operating system in a full-scene, fully connected, fully intelligent era and based on open source.

Gong Ti, president of Huawei terminal BG software department, said in his speech that with the joint efforts of various partners, the capacity of the OpenHarmony system continued to enhance in 2022, and ecological progress was accelerated in various industries. 102commercial devices, 94 development board modules and 28 software distributions have passed the community compatibility test.

Huawei has set up a special OpenHarmony enabling department to provide partners with more than 20 enabling services, including industry insight, training empowerment, technical support and so on. In April 2022, we signed an OpenHarmony eco-enabling cooperation agreement with six distribution vendors. Last year, they launched commercial distributions based on OpenHarmony in education, finance, transportation and other industries.

Huawei officials said that in order to support the development of more industries and prosper the OpenHarmony ecology, more partners in the industrial chain are needed to join, including chip manufacturers, module development board manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, etc., to work together to create a digital base for thousands of industries, and create a new pattern of the Internet of everything industry.
