China's first national hydrogen power quality supervision and inspection center was completed and put into operation in Chongqing on the 9th, Xinhua reported. Its testing scope covers the whole hydrogen energy industry chain, and will play a service role in inspection, standard setting, scientific and technological research and development, and further enhance the testing, evaluation and standardization ability of domestic hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. to provide a strong guarantee for the development of China's energy and automobile industry.

CTOnews.com learned that the construction of the National hydrogen Power quality Inspection and testing Center began on September 16, 2020, with a total investment of 500 million yuan in the first phase, which took two years, and has been successfully completed and put into operation as planned.

It is reported that the inspection and testing center will build a testing and evaluation capability system for the whole hydrogen energy industry chain, and the overall plan for the construction of five laboratories: vehicle laboratory, powertrain laboratory, fuel cell laboratory, hydrogen energy accessories laboratory, battery motor laboratory. Technical consulting services will be provided in the fields of fuel cell stack, fuel cell system and key components, hydrogen storage system, hydrogen power system, fuel cell vehicle, etc.

In addition to providing routine inspection, testing and evaluation services, the center has also built a complete vehicle environment cabin laboratory, a power cell safety laboratory, a hydrogen energy vehicle five-axis coupling powertrain laboratory, a 300kW fuel cell system condition EMC laboratory, a hydrogen internal combustion engine laboratory for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, and a comprehensive testing laboratory for hydrogen fuel cells and other key components. And hydrogen energy storage and transportation plus integrated operation big data platform.
