CTOnews.com January 9 news, today Tesla China official website shows that the domestic delivery time of Model Y rear wheel drive version and long-lasting version has been extended to 2-5 weeks, while the delivery time of Model Y high-performance version is still 1-4 weeks.

CTOnews.com noted that the current expected delivery date for Model 3 in China is still 1-4 weeks.

Recently, Tesla China announced on its official website that the prices of all domestic models of Model 3 and Model Y will be adjusted, with the price of Model 3 falling by 36000 yuan and that of Model Y by 29000 yuan. The price cuts of the remaining versions of the two models range from 20, 000 yuan to 48000 yuan, setting an all-time low for Tesla in China.

Tao Lin, vice president of foreign affairs of Tesla, said that behind Tesla's price adjustment, there are numerous engineering innovations, starting from the "first principle" and insisting on cost pricing. Respond to the national call with practical actions to promote economic development and release the potential of consumption.

According to the annual production and sales data released by Tesla, Tesla's annual output in 2022 was 1.3696 million vehicles, an increase of 47 per cent over the same period last year, and annual delivery volume was 1.3139 million vehicles, an increase of 40 per cent over the same period last year. Although production has broken through the million mark, delivery is still a far cry from the 50 per cent increase set by Tesla CEO Elon Musk in early 2022.
