He also predicts that the number of mobile users in China will exceed 1.69 billion in 2022 and 1.71 billion in 2025. The number of 5G mobile users in China is expected to exceed 4G mobile users in 2025. China's 5G users will exceed 900 million, the penetration rate of 5G individual users will exceed 56%, and the penetration rate of large enterprises will also exceed 50%.

In addition, CICT also pointed out that the next generation of 6G technology will also form a preliminary technical framework in 2023 and may enter the substantive standardization research of 6G in 2024 or 2025.

For the growth of traffic, Wanyi expects that China's DOU is expected to break through 20GB in 2025. He believes that with the continuous exploration of 5G applications and the gradual maturity of new terminals and content, it is expected that a number of innovative applications that require higher network performance will emerge, while existing stock applications will continue to optimize the user experience. in particular, video applications combine 5G existing network performance to improve application indicators in terms of frame rate, bit rate, resolution and so on.

At present, the 5G diversion ratio of operators' multi-location branches exceeds 30%, and that of some cities exceeds 50%. The average monthly growth rate of mobile traffic is expected to remain stable at about 20% in 2022. As operators gradually reduce 5G package charges, the growth rate of mobile traffic will gradually pick up. It is expected that the average monthly flow will continue to grow, and the average monthly flow is expected to reach 15GB in 2022. DOU is expected to break through 20GB in 2025.
