CTOnews.com January 8 news, open source cross-platform launchable USB solution tool Ventoy released the 1.0.87 update today. This update optimizes the interactive experience by adding a return to the previous menu option on the secondary startup menu.

In addition, the new version adds a maximum value to the screen resolution option in the Ventoy theme plug-in, supports the matching of check values for VENTOY_CHECKSUM files, and introduces a new menu language.

CTOnews.com learned that version 1.0.87 fixed the creation of a blank item at the end of the language selection menu, the menu display when using persistence, the file path problem when using file validation in F2 browse mode, a menu title problem, and the problem of starting VHD / VHDX files in extended logical partitions in F2 browse mode.

In addition, Ventoy 1.0.87 added BSD style support for .md5, .sha1, .sha256, and .sha512 check files, disabled automatic installation, persistence, and Fn hotkeys in the WIM selection menu, and updated languages.json files.
