According to the information collected by foreign science and technology media MacRumors, CTOnews.com learned that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may have the following six exclusive functions:

1. A17 chip

According to Nikkei Asia, the iPhone 15 Pro will be equipped with A17 Bionic chips based on TSMC's second-generation 3nm process to improve performance and efficiency. The same as last year, only the iPhone 15 Pro model will be equipped with Apple's latest chips, the report said.

Like the Apple Watch Ultra, the frame of the iPhone 15 Pro will be made of titanium instead of stainless steel, according to analyst Jeff Pu and whistleblower ShrimpApplePro.

3. Using USB-C port

According to analyst Guo Mingyi, the iPhone 15 Pro model will be equipped with USB-C ports that support at least USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3, which will significantly speed up the data transmission speed of these devices. Guo said that the USB-C port on the standard iPhone 15 model will still be limited to USB 2.0 speed.

4. Increase memory

According to research firm TrendForce, the iPhone 15 Pro model will be equipped with increased 8GB memory, while the standard model is likely to continue to have 6GB memory as it currently does. 5. Solid state button

The iPhone 15 Pro model will be equipped with solid-state volume and power buttons, Guo said. Analysts say the devices will be equipped with two additional Taptic Engines that provide tactile feedback to simulate the feeling of pressing a button without actually moving the button, similar to the Home button on the latest iPhone SE or the trackpad on the new MacBook.

6. Optical zoom

Guo Mingyi said the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. This could give the device at least 6x optical zoom, compared with 3x for the iPhone 14 Pro model.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg suggested that iPhone 15 Pro Max could be renamed iPhone 15 Ultra, just like Apple Watch Ultra.
