Lu Xiaobu believes that as the founder of the game account, only Liu Xiaobi himself has the authority to change the password and bind the mobile phone number. Later, LV Xiaobu and Liu Xiaobei failed to negotiate on this matter many times, so they sued to the court, asking Liu Xiaobei to refund the transfer fee of 10100 yuan for the game account.

After the Huayu Court accepted the case, it started the mediation procedure before the lawsuit, and the mediation committee contacted both the original and the defendant for many times to interpret the basic Law to both parties. At the same time, considering that the plaintiff is from other provinces, the Huacheng Court opened a green channel and organized remote mediation for both parties on the Internet. On January 4, 2023, Lu Xiaobu and Liu Xiaobi finally reached an agreement on mediation under the auspices of the Huacheng Court. The defendant Liu Xiaobi is scheduled to return 10100 yuan of transfer fee to the plaintiff Lu Xiaobu before January 10, 2023.

The judge said that the network virtual property is a kind of intangible property and a new type of digital property that can measure its value with existing metrics. Daily use of Q coins, game equipment, game account levels, game characters, etc., all belong to the network virtual property. According to Article 127 of the Civil Code, "where the law has provisions on the protection of data and network virtual property, such provisions shall prevail." The property rights of the civil subject are equally protected by the law, and the law also provides protection when the data and network virtual property owned by the civil subject are illegally infringed.
