The mysterious chip uses 4nm technology, which may be Samsung's customized CPU for foldable devices.

Samsung considered adding S Pen pen slots to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but failed to do so due to various restrictions. Samsung finally implemented the S Pen pen slot on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 launched this year. However, there is a sacrifice in thickness, from 6.3 mm to 6.5 mm, and the weight will also increase.

CTOnews.com also learned from this report that another reason for the weight gain of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a major upgrade of the camera. Sources say the back of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be equipped with a 1.08 megapixel camera.
