CTOnews.com, January 7, the latest version of the Lenovo Slim 7 laptop weighs 2.9lb (1.31kg) and features up to 14 inches, 2880 x 1800 pixels, 120Hz IPS LCD display (or FHD OLED screen), Intel Core i7-1360p processor, 16GB memory and 1TB storage space.

Lenovo said the Lenovo Slim 7 will go on sale in April, priced at $730 (about 5001 yuan) or more. The entry-level configuration will be equipped with Gen 12 Intel Core chips instead of Intel's newer Gen 13 processors.

The laptop, known as the Lenovo Yoga Slim 6i outside North America, will offer Intel Core i5-1240p, Core i7-1260p, Core i5-1340p and Core i7-1360p processor options.

Although these are 28W, 12-core, 16-thread chips, the newer models have higher basic and smart frequencies and combine new energy-saving features that Intel says can provide longer battery life.

The estimated starting price of $730 is likely to be available only for the Core i5-1240p chip version.

CTOnews.com learned that other features include two Thunderbolt ports, 60Wh battery and 65W charging, stereo 2W speakers and a 1080p infrared camera with facial recognition and privacy shutter support. The laptop is available in either Storm Grey or Fog Grey and comes with 180-degree hinges.
