CTOnews.com, January 7 news, Midea officially announced that the Weiling New Energy Automotive parts Strategic New Base (referred to as "Weiling Anqing Base") of Midea's new energy plate has been officially put into production. It is expected that after completing the production capacity climbing in late February, it will move towards the goal of 1 million electric compressors, 1.2 million EPS steering motors and 200000 drive motors per year.

The production line of Weiling Anqing base supports "flexible production, traceability and high degree of automation". The production line can realize the agile and rapid transformation of multiple products in the whole production process, and accurately trace the process parameters of the assembly process based on QR code. up to 93% of automated production can improve production efficiency and quality assurance.

In addition to the Weiling Anqing base, Weiling has also set up R & D centers and cooperation institutions in Shanghai, Hefei, Anhui, Shunde, Guangdong, Osaka, Japan and the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom to enhance the core components technical capabilities of Chinese new energy vehicle companies.

Take the first electric compressor off the line as an example, the product has the characteristics of "high speed, low noise, low power consumption", mainly supporting ideal, Xiaopeng, Ulai and other market mainstream electric vehicle enterprises.

Weiling auto parts have launched 800V silicon carbide (SiC) 12000rpm high-speed electric compressor. In 2023, products such as 800V electric compressors of CO2 environmentally friendly refrigerants will also enter the stage of mass production.

CTOnews.com learned that Weiling automotive components focus on the incremental components of the new energy vehicle "thermal management, electric drive, chassis execution system", including electric compressors, drive motors, EPS steering motors, electronic oil pumps and electronic water pumps.
