CTOnews.com January 7, NVIDIA today released the NVIDIA 525.78.01 video card driver for GNU / Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris systems to resolve some of the errors in previous versions of Bug.

NVIDIA 525.78.01 resolved issues preventing the display of G-SYNC / G-SYNC compatible visual indicators, fixed possible application crash and Xid 32 errors-VK_KHR_present_id Vulkan extension was used to improve support for Vulkan X11 applications.

CTOnews.com learned that this version also fixed a nvidia-settings control panel crash when using an older version of the NVIDIA graphics driver with a newer control panel, and an error Bug that caused an external monitor to connect to a stand-alone NVIDIA video card and configured as a PRIME Display Offload receiver in a mixed graphics configuration.

The NVIDIA 525.78.01 graphics driver is now available for download from the official website and is marked as "the latest production branch version", which means it is recommended to install it on production devices that use NVIDIA 525.60.11 or earlier versions of the driver.

This download is available for 64-bit and ARM64 (AArch64) Linux platforms, as well as 64-bit FreeBSD and x64 / x86 Solaris systems.
