CTOnews.com, January 7, a number of important Teams features are currently under development and will be available to everyone in the coming months. Now Microsoft has announced major improvements to the conferencing toolbar in Microsoft Teams.

The purpose of this improved meeting toolbar is to make navigation in Teams easier than ever. Microsoft said, "the updated meeting toolbar in Microsoft Teams makes it easier than ever to navigate meetings and discover new features and functions."

Usability improvements to the meeting toolbar include a dedicated "hands up" button, which means that users can now select "hands up" directly from the toolbar. You can also switch seamlessly between different view options through the new view button in the toolbar. CTOnews.com learned that in addition, users can browse more menus more easily from submenu groups. Finally, the improved toolbar now has a new response button.

However, not every Teams user is eligible to experience the new toolbar. Currently, users in Teams public preview channels running Windows or macOS can use toolbar availability improvements. Microsoft will push the changes to more users when it is ready.
