CTOnews.com, January 6, the latest data from Chery Group show that Chery Group sold a total of 1232727 cars in 2022, an increase of 28.2 percent over the same period last year, including 105483 in December.

In 2022, Chery Group exported 451337 vehicles, up 67.7 percent from the same period last year, and sold 232814 new energy vehicles, up 112.9 percent from the same period last year.

Chery Group said it made four "first-time" breakthroughs in 2022, including annual operating revenue exceeding 200 billion yuan for the first time, annual sales exceeding 1 million vehicles for the first time, annual exports reaching 450000 new coordinates for the first time, and annual sales of new energy exceeding 200000 for the first time. So far, Chery Group has more than 11.2 million global auto users, including 2.4 million overseas users.

CTOnews.com learned that the brands of Chery Group have successively launched a series of new models, such as Omenda 5, Jetway Dasheng, Arize 8, New Energy Unbounded Pro and so on.

Among them, Chery brand sold 908553 vehicles for the whole year, up 38.3% from the same period last year; Xingtu brand sold 51142 vehicles, up 37.6% from the same period last year; and Jetway brand sold 180067 vehicles, up 16.9% from the same period last year.

In the new energy market, Chery Group successively launched Ruihu 8 PLUS Kunpeng e+, Xingtuzufeng ET-i, Qirui Unbounded Pro, Ruihu 7 PLUS hybrid version, Jettos "i-DM" plug-in version and other models in 2022.

By the end of 2022, Chery had applied for a total of 25795 patents and obtained 17177 authorized patents, of which 37% were patents for invention.
