CTOnews.com January 6, Lenovo ThinkPhone has been unveiled, which is a Motorola-made smartphone that looks like a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop.

The ThinkPhone has a 6.6inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080 and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The screen also provides HDR10+ support.

The ThinkPhone phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, with 8GB or 12GB memory and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage space.

The ThinkPhone is carbon black and has special red buttons that can be customized to perform different tasks-open Walkie Talkie applications or open business or field applications through Microsoft Teams. The backplane is designed with lightweight aramid fiber, while the frame is made of aviation grade aluminum. The front is covered with gorilla glass Victus. The back is decorated with the special ThinkPhone logo Logo.

ThinkPhone is also IP68 and MIL-STD 810H certified, so it can withstand falls below 1.25m and swimming at a depth of 1.5m for 30 minutes.

CTOnews.com learned that Motorola ThinkPhone has a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The package includes the required wired charger.

On the camera side, the ThinkPhone is equipped with the 50MP f / 1.8 main camera, which is four-in-one pixels, resulting in a pixel size of 2.0 μ m. The camera supports both PDAF phase detection autofocus and OIS optical anti-shake. There is also a 13MP f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that supports macro shooting. The front of the machine supports the autofocus function of the 32MP selfie camera.

ThinkPhone is not only a new brand, but also integrates with Lenovo ThinkPad laptops, including Think connectivity based on Motorola Ready For. Allows you to synchronize ThinkPhone to ThinkPad and transfer copied text, photos, documents, and drag-and-drop files, share notifications, use your phone as a webcam, and open any Android application on the screen of a Windows laptop.

ThinkPhone will preinstall Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams applications.

Moto KeySafe adds a separate layer of security-storing PIN and passwords, encryption keys, and other sensitive data in a tamper-proof environment.

Finally, Moto OEMConfig or Moto Device Manager will allow IT administrators to remotely configure ThinkPhone for enterprise customers.

Motorola ThinkPhone will be available in the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and some Asian countries in the coming months. Lenovo has not disclosed the price, but because it is a B2B, mainly for enterprise-oriented devices.
