CTOnews.com January 6 news, Lan Qi Technology announced today that PCIe 5. 0 / CXL 2. 0 Retimer chips have been successfully mass produced. The chip is an upgrade of existing PCIe 4.0 Retimer products from Lan Qi Technology.

Lanqi said that its PCIe 5.0 / CXL 2.0 Retimer chip uses signal conditioning technology to improve signal integrity and increase the effective transmission distance of high-speed signals. The chip conforms to the relevant technical specifications of PCI-SIG and CXL industry organizations, adopts the mainstream package in the industry, and the transmission rate is up to 32 GT / s. It is the first in the industry to support ultra-low transmission delay of less than 5 ns.

According to reports, the chip supports complex system topologies such as SRIS and Retimer cascades, and is a solution to the challenges of PCIe / CXL signal integrity in next-generation servers, enterprise storage, and AI acceleration systems. Lanqi Technology has completed interoperability testing in cooperation with major partners in the fields of CPU, switching chips, solid state drives, GPU and network cards.
