Build 22623.1095 = new features are introduced.

Build 22621.1095 = the new feature is turned off by default.

Improvements and promotion start menus in 22621.1095 and 22623.1095:

The search box design in the start menu has been updated to a large fillet to match the search box design on the taskbar.

Improvements and promotion routines in 22623.1095:

Remove Quick Assist from Windows Tools and place it directly in the all applications list on the start menu to make it easier to find.

Fixes in 22623.1095: task bar and system tray:

Fixed several issues that could cause the upper half of the taskbar to be clipped.

Start menu:

Fixed an issue where the uninstall application dialog box might not display correctly in the start menu in some cases, making the button inaccessible.

Task Manager:

Fixed an issue that caused filters by publisher name to not match correctly on the processes page.

Fixed an issue that caused some services not to appear on the Services page after filtering was applied.

Fixed an issue that caused new processes to appear in the filter list when the setup filter was started.

Fixed an issue where some dialogs were not rendered with the correct theme when applied from the Task Manager Settings page.

Fixed an issue that caused the data content area of the processes page to flash once when theme changes were applied on the Task Manager Settings page.

The launch applications page in the Task Manager will now list applications as expected.

Fixed an issue that might cause a splash screen when opening Task Manager.

If there are no matching search results, the task manager will now state clearly.

Fixed possible task manager crash when trying to end some processes.

The user can now set the focus to the search box by pressing CTRL + F.

Fixes in 22621.1095 and 22623.1095: search the taskbar for:

Improved reliability, fixed some crashes, and improved animation and transition performance.

Fixed an issue that caused the search box on the taskbar to not render and display visual items correctly.

Fixed a layout problem that caused right-to-left display languages, such as Arabic.

Other fixes:

Changed the experience of the preview .NET Framework update. After installing this update, all future preview versions (optional). NET Framework updates will be displayed on Windows updates > Advanced options > Settings > optional updates, and users can choose which optional updates to install.

Fixed an issue affecting Windows Server 2022 domain controllers (DC) that stopped responding when processing lightweight Directory access Protocol (LDAP) requests.

Fixed a possible issue when the input method Editor (IME) was active. When the user uses both the mouse and the keyboard, the application may stop responding.

Fixed an issue affecting host .exe that caused responses to stop.

Fixed an issue that affected the speed of copying items from the network to the local computer. For some users, replication is slower than expected.

Fixed an issue affecting some systems with firmware trusted platform modules (TPM). This issue prevents users from setting up these systems using AutoPilot.

Fixed resource conflicts between two or more threads (called deadlocks). This deadlock affects COM+ applications.

Fixed an issue that affected devices constrained by Microsoft vulnerability protection export address filtering (EAF). Some applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader, stop responding or fail to open.

Fixed an issue that affected the search indexer .exe, which randomly prevented users from logging in or logging out.

Fixed a problem that might occur when using multi-byte character set (MBCS) applications to convert or reconvert Kanji. As you type, the cursor may have moved to the wrong location.

Fixed issues affecting mstsc.exe. It stops responding when connecting to remote applications and desktop connections.

Fixed an issue that might affect FindWindow () or FindWindowEx (), which could result in an incorrect window handle being returned.

Fixed an issue that affected the use of searches on the taskbar to find picture files, which prevented users from opening them.
