CTOnews.com, January 6 (Xinhua)-- Aqara, a maker of smart home accessories, has released several new devices on CES 2023 that support features such as HomeKit security video and Home Key in Apple Wallet.

The video doorbell G4 is compatible with HomeKit secure video and local streaming to Amazon and Google smart display devices and will support the Matter protocol when the specification is officially ready for cameras. The doorbell features local AI facial recognition that triggers specific automated operations, as well as optional local storage through microSD card slots. It also supports battery power and cable power.

The smart door lock U100 is the first fixed bolt lock of Aqara, which supports HomeKit and Home Key function in Apple Wallet app on iPhone and Apple Watch. You can use iPhone and Apple Watch as door keys to easily unlock your home. In addition to Home Key, users can also use built-in fingerprint identification, digital passwords, Aqara applications and NFC cards, and mechanical keys for authentication. It uses the Zigbee protocol and supports Matter.

CTOnews.com learned that in addition to the visual doorbell G4 and the smart door lock U100Magi Aqara, the electronic sensor FP2 and LED Strip T1 with support for HomeKit and Matter were also released.
