According to CTOnews.com news on January 5, Dongfeng Automobile data show that Dongfeng sold 685000 autonomous passenger vehicles in 2022, an increase of 32% over the same period last year.

In terms of new energy vehicles, Dongfeng New Energy vehicles sold 471000 units in 2022, an increase of 156.8% over the same period last year. Of this total, 424000 new energy passenger vehicles were sold, up 157.2 percent from the same period last year, and 47000 new energy commercial vehicles were sold, up 153.4 percent from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that Dongfeng Motor said that it will further accelerate the iterative innovation of new energy core technologies in the future, and will achieve 100% electrification of new models of the main passenger car brand in 2024.

In terms of exports, in 2022, Dongfeng exported 240000 cars, an increase of 58 percent over the same period last year, a record high. In the future, Dongfeng will introduce seven new energy products to the Nordic market, covering the luxury, high-end and mainstream electric vehicle markets, and plans to build 34 marketing service outlets to achieve full coverage of the Nordic market by 2025.
