CTOnews.com learned that BYD yuan PLUS sold 29468 vehicles in December and accumulated sales of more than 200000 vehicles in the 10 months on the market.

In addition, BYD Qin PLUS sold 23149 vehicles in December and 315283 in 2022, an increase of 85.67 per cent year-on-year.

According to data released by BYD earlier, the Han family sold 30043 vehicles in December, breaking the 30,000 mark for four months in a row, with annual sales exceeding 270000 in 2022 and cumulative sales of more than 430000 since listing. The Tang family sold 20165 vehicles in December, with cumulative sales exceeding 440000. The new pure electric species "Dolphin" sold 26074 vehicles in December, more than 20,000 in six consecutive months, 205417 in 2022 and more than 230000 on the market.

Overall, BYD sold 1868543 cars in 2022, up 152.5% from a year earlier. Sales in December were 235197, an increase of 137.3% over the same period last year, of which 11320 passenger cars were exported.
