Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
Before, we had a brainstorm about how to build a "water droplet" shell based on strong interaction, and the final conclusion is that if we do not consider the technical possibility, but only consider the theoretical feasibility, similar materials may really exist, and it may be a stronger material than the water droplet shell-quark-gluon plasma. Today, let's open another brain to see if there is a theoretical possibility for "Tomoko" to be created from a scientific point of view.
As a detector sent to the earth by trisomy, water droplets are not the first things in the three-body world that come into contact with the civilization of the earth. Tomoko came to Earth long before it, and everything that has happened on Earth since then has been a panoramic view of the trisomy. As the "super monitoring" installed by the trisomy on the earth, Tomoko would underestimate it if he only played a monitoring role. Chiko is essentially an advanced intelligent computer made by three-body people, which can not only monitor the every move of all human beings on earth, but also make all kinds of "miracles" appear in front of people's eyes. it can even interfere with high-energy particle experiments so as to lock up the basic physics of human beings.
In addition to its eye-popping functions, Tomoko also shows technical details that challenge human cognition in the manufacturing process: for example, its integrated circuit is etched by expanding a proton in two dimensions; the energy that drives it to travel at the speed of near light is absorbed from a vacuum; and the superluminal communication between them is realized by quantum induction over a distance, and so on.
Is there any scientific basis for these seemingly wild ideas? At this time, I know that someone will say, "you can't use Earth's science to explain alien technology."
First of all, you may not know what is science and what is technology, and secondly, you may not know exactly where the theories in science come from. As a matter of fact, we have said this kind of question before, let's not go into details today, let's go back to Tomoko.
First of all, let's take a look at the circuit manufacturing problem of Tomoko.
Physicists in the original three-body world have been able to manipulate nine dimensions of the 11-dimensional structure of the microscopic world, but they cannot etch integrated circuits directly in a proton. So they unfold the high-dimensional protons into a macroscopic two-dimensional film that is large enough to wrap the planet, and the whole circuit is etched on this two-dimensional film.
If we do not consider the technical problems involved in dimensional expansion, and only talk about high-dimensional space, there is indeed relevant theoretical support in string theory at present. Like the Karabi-Qiu manifold we said last time, it is curled up in six microscopic dimensions outside the familiar three-dimensional space, so the term "9-dimensional proton" is reasonable.
If the Karabi-Qiu manifold also does not consider how the two-dimensional plane is etched, it will have to be restored after the circuit is engraved, and this process will encounter a thorny problem-the Beckenstein upper limit (Bekenstein bound).
The Beckenstein upper limit represents the upper limit of information that can be stored in a limited space, and exceeding it would violate the second law of thermodynamics.
Here the I on the left side of the inequality represents the amount of information, and if the proton is substituted, the R on the right represents the radius of the proton, m represents the mass of the proton, and everything else is constant.
From this, it can be deduced that the amount of information that protons can carry is only in the order of bits. So for a proton that returns to its normal state, there is theoretically no way to store more information. Even if you forcibly store information on it through extra dimensions, when it returns to normal proton form, it will lose all the information it has previously given.
All right, after talking about the manufacture of the basic circuit, let's talk about its energy source.
With regard to Tomoko's energy, the original work describes it as follows: "they can draw energy from a vacuum and turn into high-energy particles in a very short time, sailing at a speed close to the speed of light." Obviously, here "energy in a vacuum" refers to zero point energy.
Vacuum zero point energy is indeed a concept of modern quantum mechanics. First of all, the vacuum is not really empty, there are quantum fluctuations all the time.
According to the principle of uncertainty, the position and momentum of a particle cannot be accurately known at the same time (the knowledge here is mathematical, not physical). So as long as the region is defined, the momentum of the particle here cannot be zero, which is the zero point energy.
Zero can be true, and it has been proved by experiments in reality that it is the "Casimir effect".
When two electrically neutral metal plates are placed in a vacuum, when they are close enough, there is a slight attraction between them, which is caused by the Casimir effect. Because if there is really nothing in the vacuum, there should be no force between the two metal plates except for a negligible gravitational force. But the plates close to each other in the experiment tell us that the vacuum does not seem to be empty, it is full of pairs of virtual particles produced by quantum fluctuations, which are the source of zero-point energy.
Although there is energy in the vacuum, how to extract it is a problem. Under normal circumstances, the pair of virtual particles produced by quantum fluctuations will be annihilated immediately, equivalent to borrowing energy from a vacuum and giving it back immediately, otherwise generating energy out of thin air will violate the law of conservation of energy. So the zero point in the vacuum is indeed a "family", but it is really "illusory" to borrow it and not to return it (or return it for a long time) like Tomoko.
After talking about the energy problem, let's talk about the communication problem.
In the original work, the trisomy realizes the instantaneous transmission of superluminal information through the "quantum induction" between two groups of wise sons, which obviously corresponds to quantum entanglement in quantum mechanics. Quantum entanglement is simply: two particles in an entangled state, when we determine the state of one of them, we can immediately know the state of the other.
Like a pair of slippers, you put your left and right feet in two boxes. Even if you put one of the boxes in other galaxies hundreds of millions of light-years away, as long as you open the box around you, you can immediately infer whether the shoe located hundreds of millions of light-years away is left or right.
Although this example can give you a first impression of quantum entanglement, it is not strictly accurate. Because for entangled particles, the two are not separated after their respective states have been agreed in advance, but are temporarily determined when you observe. Before the observation, you do not know and cannot assign a state to the particle as you wish, so you cannot rely on it to convey any information. The quantum communication mentioned in the news actually refers to encrypted communication based on quantum properties, yes, it is just a means of encryption. Thus it can be seen that the "real" real-time communication like Tomoko cannot be realized in science.
Well, to sum up: in reality, it is impossible to create a wise son like that in the "three-body". And many of them are not feasible in theory, not just technical problems. From this point of view, it is estimated that artificial intelligence is more feasible on Tomoko.
