Microsoft released a cumulative KB5021255 update for Win11 2022 Update (22H2) at Patch Tuesday, December 2022, about 3 weeks ago. The update caused some AMD devices to jam and other BUG was reported on this site in December, but these problems have been going on for 3 weeks due to the Christmas holiday.

In the Feedback Hub and Reddit communities, there have been continuous posts that Windows 11 22H2 KB5021255 updates have caused AMD PC to get stuck. However, according to the observation of foreign science and technology media Windows Lastest, there are not many user equipment affected by the jam problem.

CTOnews.com learned that after updating KB5021255 cumulative updates, AMD device users reported more poor game performance after the update, resulting in a decline in FPS frame rate. It is possible that both AMD and Microsoft have been involved in the investigation and should release a fix soon.

One of the users commented: "after installing the update, when PC sets up a work / school account, it will get stuck in the 'account setting' and 'join the organization's network' section. There are several PC in our organization, some of which are fine, while other PC will get stuck."

Another user commented: "I have an Alienware Aurora R13 that I bought just four months ago. The machine runs Win11 Home Edition, and Windows Update has tried to install KB5019980 updates many times, but has always failed. Three failures are 0x800700003, three times, and one is 0x8028014. I tried Clean Boot, recovery, DISM, SFC / scannow and security startup were all useless.
