Since the success of the test-bed test in 1992, the ground calibration test, high-altitude simulation test and long-range life test of the upper-stage hydrogen and oxygen engine of the long March 3A series carrier rocket have been completed. it has made outstanding contributions to many major national space projects, such as Beidou navigation and lunar exploration.

CTOnews.com learned that China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. held a 2023 model work meeting on January 3. The meeting proposed that in 2023, the group plans to arrange more than 50 space launch missions; the manned space station project will enter the stage of application and development, and the space station will turn into a normal operation mode; comprehensively promote the fourth phase of the lunar exploration project and the planetary exploration project; carry out the development of Chang'e 7, Tianmen 2 and other models; complete the first flight of the long March 6C carrier rocket; and complete the implementation of commercial aerospace and satellite export contracts.
