CTOnews.com January 4 news, IDC released a report today that China's AI public cloud service market is expected to reach 7.46 billion yuan in 2022, accounting for 16.5% of the overall AI software market, showing an upward trend compared with 2021.

The report points out that the overall market for artificial intelligence has changed greatly due to technological breakthroughs, but the market pattern of AI public cloud service vendors is relatively stable. Baidu Smart Cloud still ranked first in the first half of 2022, Aliyun ranked second and the first gradually narrowed the gap, and Huawei Cloud and Tencent Cloud continued to increase market share.

In the field of human face, the market scale of public cloud service for human face in the first half of 2022 is only 38% higher than that in the first half of 2021, and the market has entered a stable period. In this field, Baidu Intelligent Cloud, Tencent Cloud and Aliyun occupy the top three market shares.

In the field of image and video, Baidu Smart Cloud and Aliyun are still in the top two, while Tencent Cloud continued to rank third in finance, mutual entertainment and other areas in the first half of 2022.

CTOnews.com learned that IDC said the market for public cloud services for machine learning grew 109 per cent year-on-year in the first half of 2022. Huawei Cloud, Aliyun and Baidu Intelligent Cloud rank in the top three in this field. All three companies have rich machine learning product portfolios and will continue to lower the threshold for AI development by laying out technologies such as large models in the future.
