CTOnews.com January 4, Nvidia announced the launch of a major version update of DLSS 3 at the end of the quarter in a keynote speech on CES 2023. Nvidia said that DLSS 3 has entered a stage of rapid development, through this technology to continuously improve the game's FPS, as well as improve the game's image quality.

Nvidia said in its official blog that thanks to the continuous training on the AI supercomputer, it will further speed up the updating of subsequent versions of DLSS 3 and continue to improve DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA and the latest DLSS 3 Frame Generation technology.

And the improvements in these technologies are no longer limited to DLSS 3 games, but to all GeForce RTX players. So even if you are running the old RTX 20 or RTX 30 GPU, you can enjoy some of the advantages of DLSS 3. CTOnews.com learned that DLSS 3 mainly includes the following improvements:

Enhanced DLSS Frame Generation through AI network makes better use of game engine data and improves UI stability and image quality when moving fast.

Upgrading the AI network to enhance DLSS Super Resolution Ultra Performance mode improves detail stability and overall image quality.

Upgrading the AI network to enhance NVIDIA DLAA improves image quality, reduces ghosting, and improves edge smoothness at high contrast.

Nvidia said that there are now 17 games that support DLSS 3 technology, and the first games to benefit from this latest update will be Cyberpunk 2077, Wizards 3: hunting (next-generation update) and RTX version of Portal. In 2023, 33 games, including Heart of the Atoms (Atomic Heart), Dakar Rally (Dakar Desert Rally), Marvel's Midnight Suns, The Day Before, Warhaven and Witchfire, were added.
