On the morning of January 4, Beijing time, it was reported that Shopify, a Canadian e-commerce company, would remove meetings of more than two people from its employees' calendar. The company has told employees not to increase the number of meetings for at least the next two weeks. The move is aimed at reducing staff meeting time.

Shopify has also reactivated a ban that employees are not allowed to hold meetings on Wednesday, Tuyuan Unsplash reported. In addition, if there are more than 50 participants, such meetings can only be held during the Thursday window.
