CTOnews.com January 3 news, Intel today officially released N-series processors, for entry-level computing, up to 8 cores 8 threads, 32EU kernel specification.

According to reports, Intel N-series processors use the new Gracemont CPU micro-architecture of Intel 7 process technology, with 4 to 8 energy-efficient core options, providing excellent performance per watt. Among them, the overall application system performance of Core i3N 8 core model has been improved by up to 42%. The performance of core Web browsing has been improved by as much as 24%.

As shown in the figure above, the N-series processors include Intel N and Intel Core N models, the former with 4 cores and the latter with 8 cores, supporting LPDDR5, DDR5, DDR4 memory, as well as UFS 2.1, eMMC flash and SSD. According to reports, this series of processors support 10bit HEVC and VP9 encoding / decoding, AV1 decoding to achieve high color depth; through the HDMI 2.0b interface to play 4K HDR streaming video on TV, up to three monitors can be connected at the same time.

Intel said that the new Intel ®core TM i3 N-series processors expand the development trend of good product selection, and there will be more than 50 OEM designs in 2023.
