CTOnews.com, January 4, according to Intel official news, some models with Intel Core processors of the 13th generation will be equipped with Intel Movidius Vision processor (VPU) for the first time.

Intel said that through deep cooperation with Microsoft on its new Windows Studio Effects, it uses VPU to accelerate AI-intensive tasks required for professional collaboration and live streaming, allowing CPU and GPU to focus on other or multitasking workloads.

CTOnews.com learned that Intel has now released 13 generations of Core HX, H, P, U series processors. Intel said that as many as 60 laptops with the 13th generation Intel Core HX mobile processor are available for users to choose from, five times as many models as the 12th generation, providing users with amazing performance for smooth live streaming, creative creation and fun games.

The H-series, P-series and U-series mobile processors will improve the performance of the new generation of fever-friendly models, lightweight books, folding screen notebooks, two-in-one notebooks and other types of devices. Acer, Asustek, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, MSI, Thunder Snake, ROG and Samsung are expected to launch more than 300 models this year.
