The commercial vehicle equipped with Black Sesame Intelligence Huashan A1000 self-driving chip will be produced in 2023.

Sany Special Automobile, which belongs to Sany Group, is the largest construction machinery manufacturer in China and the second in the world. Its business covers more than 150 countries and regions around the world, including concrete machinery, excavation machinery, lifting machinery, road construction machinery, piling machinery, etc., and accelerate the layout in terms of green intelligence and self-driving.

According to the agreement, Black Sesame Intelligence provides a central domain control solution for commercial vehicles based on Huashan II A1000 chip platform, which meets the functional requirements of L2 + level ADAS for commercial vehicles and special vehicles, and is applied to all commercial electric vehicle and fuel vehicle platforms of Sany Group.

The L2 + level ADAS functions of the ▲ Huashan II A1000 chip include adaptive cruise, lane maintenance assistance, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind area warning, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and driver monitoring system. The two sides will carry out comprehensive cooperation based on their respective resources and technological advantages, actively carry out and promote in-depth cooperation in intelligent vehicles and related industries, and jointly enhance the ability of independent innovation and application level in the application fields of smart vehicles and related industries, and speed up the landing of China's intelligent driving industry.

CTOnews.com learned that the Black Sesame Intelligent Huashan II A1000 chip is the first single chip in China that complies with car regulations and reaches the state of mass production. It is manufactured by 16nm technology, equipped with eight-core A55 1.5GHz CPU, and its computing power reaches 58TOPS (INT8) and 116TOPS (INT4), adapting to L2+/L3-level autopilot.
