According to the latest revelations, the head display, named HTC VIVE XR Elite, sells for 1.79 million won (currently about 9738 yuan, or about $1400), which is $100 cheaper than competitor Meta Quest Pro's listing price.

In addition, the rendering and configuration of the head display have been exposed for up to 2 hours, and the battery is located at the back of the head, which is connected to the head display through the USB interface to support hand tracking and is expected to connect to the computer.

The headdisplay is equipped with two 1920 x 1920 resolution 120Hz refresh screens, four black-and-white tracking cameras and a color camera for mixed reality color penetration (color passthrough), and a depth sensor above the color camera for better color perspective, the revelation said.

CTOnews.com learned that HTC had previously described the new headset as lightweight, compact, powerful and with a higher dynamic range, and color penetration allows users to read text on a monitor or smartphone without taking it off.
