According to CTOnews.com news on January 3, XPG, a brand owned by Weigang Technology, today officially announced XPG PCIe 5.0SSD before CES 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that Weigang will soon release a XPG PCIe Gen5 solid state drive with a patented heat dissipation design, with sequential read speed as high as 14GB / s, sequential write speed as high as 12GB / s, random read and write speed up to 2000k IOPS at 4K, and large capacity of 8TB.

In other aspects, this PCIe 5.0 uses Huirong SM2508 master, M.2 2280 size. In terms of heat dissipation, this SSD patented heat sink design is equipped with a miniature fan.

At present, Weigang has not yet announced the price and release time of the series SSD.
