In terms of electric models, GAC Toyota sold a total of 303175 electric models in 2022, an increase of 55.8% over the same period last year. In addition, the industrial output value of Guangzhou Auto Toyota totaled 150.017 billion yuan in 2022.

At present, Guangzhou Auto Toyota has formed a motorized technical route, including mixing, plug-in, pure electricity, hydrogen electricity, etc. At the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show, GAC Toyota unveiled the fifth generation of "intelligent electric hybrid dual engine" technology. In the future, the hybrid products of Guangzhou Automobile and Toyota will be fully equipped with the latest generation of intelligent electric hybrid dual-engine system.

CTOnews.com learned that Guangzhou Auto Toyota will release and upgrade 12 dual-engine products in 2023 to realize the intelligent electric hybrid of all TNGA models. The bZ pure electric brand will introduce a new model jointly developed by GAC GROUP, Toyota and Guangzhou Auto Toyota in the future. In addition, GAC Toyota plans to account for 60% of electric model sales in 2025 and 100% in 2035.
