But the actual test found that Win11 has no advantage over Win10 in terms of performance.

CTOnews.com learned that PCWorld tested Raptor Lake-S Core i9-13900K on Windows 11 22H2 and compared it with Windows 10 22H2. Raptor Lake inherits Alder Lake and is based on the same performance hybrid architecture.

The test results show that Windows 11 has certainly performed better, but there are also many cases that are not the case, and Windows 10 has taken the lead in quite a number of cases. The following is the baseline data obtained from photo and video editing in the Procyon of PugetBench and UL. In UL Procyon, the score of Win10 is higher in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic.

This is followed by scores in Cinebench (rendering), Nero Score (testing the performance of CPU, AI photo tags, and AVC (H.264) codecs), and scores from Handbrake that tested video codec conversion or transcoding.

In addition, there are Chrome 107 tests, Procyon's Office benchmark test results, and Bapco's Crossmark enterprise tests. In Office 365, Win10 is faster than Win11 in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Finally, there is the game test, which shows that with the exception of counter-Terrorism Elite: global offensive, the performance of the two operating systems is almost the same, which is known to be a game that can only be run in single-threaded mode.

In general, Windows 11 and Windows 10 win or lose each other in terms of performance, even if there is little difference, only single-digit performance differences.
