The total number of 4G and 5G base stations actually available for radio and television in China has reached 3.6 million, making it a member of the world's ultra-large-scale wireless network operators.

According to the data, in order to ensure that the massive stock terminals can normally use the new radio and television network, China Radio and Television, together with terminals and chip industry partners, completed more than 550 terminal adaptation and upgrade models within six months after the opening of the network, covering the main models of mainstream brands within four years.

CTOnews.com learned that China Radio and Television said in the "White Paper" that in 2023, it will continue to focus on promoting cooperation in the terminal and chip industries, expand and optimize 5G terminal services, and use terminal development to enhance users' network experience.

According to reports, the release of the "China Radio and Television 5G Mobile phone products White Paper (2023 Edition)" revised the relevant mobile terminal technical requirements according to the radio and television network construction, integrated business development and industrial cooperation planning, focusing on improving the support for 700MHz wide bandwidth, 700MHz terminal enhancement, VoNR HD voice, 5G new calls, RedCap lightweight terminals, 5G NR multicast broadcasting and other aspects put forward new requirements.
