Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, January 1 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- cooling startup Frore Systems has announced that laptops with its AirJet active cooling chip program will be unveiled in early 2023, providing better cooling and less noise than fans.
Frore Systems, based in San Jose, USA, recently launched an AirJet active heat dissipation chip, which claims to double the performance of the device when it is running in silence.
According to reports, the AirJet chip is designed to solve the heat dissipation problem of today's notebook computers that limit CPU performance, which is a so-called "solid-state heat dissipation solution", which completely abandons the traditional fan cooling method. "inside the AirJet are tiny membranes that vibrate at ultrasonic frequencies, which generate strong airflow that enters the AirJet through the top vents and removes heat from a separate vent," the company said.
In addition, depending on the laptop product, the AirJet chip promises to generate only about 24 to 29 decibels of noise, softer than a whisper. Most importantly, the AirJet chip is only about 2.8mm thick, which can help reduce the thickness of laptops.
Frore Systems says AirJet chips will make their debut in real-world products sometime in 2023. The company plans to demonstrate the technology at CES 2023, and we expect to see an actual demonstration in a few days, which we can look forward to.
Frore Systems also told foreign media that PCMag,AirJet is currently the most suitable for mobile computing, including laptops, game smartphones and tablets, and is considering expanding to other platforms in the future.
CTOnews.com learned that there are two models of Frore Systems AirJet chips, the AirJet Mini is designed for fanless and lightweight notebooks and is now shipped, and the AirJet Pro chip is designed for large notebooks with more processing power and even handheld gaming systems and will ship in the first quarter of 2023.
The AirJet Mini can consume 5.25W at 1W and generate only 21 decibels of noise for 13-inch laptops and 10-inch tablets. The AirJet Pro can use 1.75W of power and 10.5W of power, generating only 24 decibels of noise for 15-inch laptops.
The company is currently supported by major manufacturers such as Qualcomm, Intel and GiS, and Intel plans to adopt AirJet in future Evo standard notebooks.
Josh Newman, vice president of mobile innovation at Intel, added in a statement: "Frore Systems's AirJet technology provides a new approach, and Intel is excited about its partnership with Frore Systems, which will prepare for future Intel Evo laptops."
