According to CTOnews.com news on December 31, the Changyi long section of the Chongqing-Xiamen high-speed railway has been officially opened smoothly. So far, all 14 cities and states in Hunan Province have achieved access to high-speed rail. After the opening of the line, Changde to Yiyang, Changsha can reach the fastest 30 minutes, 60 minutes, Sanxiang earth to achieve high-speed rail ring.

According to the release of China Iron Tower, the public communication network built by three operators (referred to as "public network") led by the Hunan Branch of China Tower (referred to as Hunan Tower) has been put into use at the same time. The Changyi section of Chongqing-Xiamen high-speed railway has achieved full coverage of 4G signals from three operators, and 5G network signals have been opened at stations and key areas.

With the support of the railway department, Hunan Tower laid 5.9 km of leaky cables in 4 tunnels, used 9 caverns, installed 158 source equipment, and built 9 Changping stations at the tunnel entrance, sharing and using 9 box-type substations on the railway to provide stable power supply for the base stations. Red line communications infrastructure co-ordinated the three operators to achieve a 100% sharing rate.

Hunan Tower organized joint survey and planning review of three operators, built 149 Hong stations outside the red line, and covered communications in the high-speed railway area outside the tunnel, of which operators shared 124 new ones and 9 shared power towers, with a sharing rate of 89%.

The Changyi section of Yuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" Zhongyuxia passageway and Hunan passageway planned in China, with a total length of 94 kilometers, with three stations in Changde, Hanshou South and Yiyang South, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Construction began in June 2019.

CTOnews.com learned that after the opening of the Changyi section of the Chongqing-Xiamen high-speed railway, the Qianjiang-Changde section and the Yiyang-Changsha section of the Chongqing-Xiamen high-speed railway already opened, as well as the Chongqing-Guizhou, Changgan, Ganlong, Longxia and other railways under construction or planning, will jointly build the main high-speed railway channels between Sichuan and Chongqing and the Hunan, Jiangxi and Fujian regions, so as to improve the accessibility between Sichuan and Chongqing and Hunan, Jiangxi and Fujian, and greatly facilitate people's travel along the line.
