Near the end of the New year, there are more fireworks, setting off fireworks in the countryside and watching fireworks shows in cities. As a photographer, how to take a beautiful picture of fireworks? today, I would like to share with you some practical fireworks shooting skills.

Whether the fireworks look good or not, these points are very important:

The shape of ① fireworks should be beautiful.

The exposure of ② fireworks should be normal

The landscape shot by ③ is also better.

Shooting parameter shutter: generally set at about 1: 4 seconds, which can be adjusted according to the situation of the scene.

Shooting fireworks generally uses a slow door, which can fully record the path of fireworks blooming. If the shutter time is too short, the fireworks shape has not fully bloomed, and if the shutter time is too long, it is easy to be disturbed.

↑ exposure time is too short, fireworks are not fully blooming

The exposure time of ↑ is enough, and the timing of fireworks shooting is also very important. When the fireworks rise, it is often too late to press the shutter, so learn to judge in advance. How do you judge? I don't know. I'm just a camera guy, not a fireworks guy.

Aperture: it is generally recommended to use F8~F11 or even a smaller aperture, on the one hand, you can get a clear impression of both far and near, and on the other hand, you can prevent fireworks from being overexposed. Fireworks are very bright at night.

Sensitivity: it is recommended that the ISO be set between 100m and 400. you can first set 100 for trial shooting. If the brightness is too low, increase the ISO, but it is best not to be too high, otherwise there will be noise reduction of the image quality.

↑ overexposed fireworks, can not be summed up: use M file, priority according to the fireworks blooming time to set the shutter time of about 1: 4 seconds (do not use shutter priority mode, night camera metering is not correct). Then according to the shutter time, set a smaller aperture of F811 or so, and then set a lower sensitivity between ISO100~400.

If you are shooting with a mobile phone, you can use professional mode, or "light graffiti", "heavy traffic" and other forms.

Focusing mode if your camera's focusing system is strong enough, you can use autofocus, but it is recommended to use manual focusing MF to predict where the fireworks will appear, focus, and press the shutter directly after the fireworks are raised.

Zone exposure of fireworks photographed in some places, will encounter this problem, fireworks exposure is normal, the ground will be dark, or the ground lights are overexposed. We can shoot fireworks first, then brighten the exposure to shoot the shadow area, reduce the exposure to shoot the highlight area, and finally use ps to synthesize a normally exposed picture.

Shooting fireworks after shooting first will produce smoke. if you start shooting after setting off a lot of fireworks, the air will not be pure, and the photos will be somewhat foggy, so it is recommended to shoot earlier and turn off the camera as soon as you are almost done. enjoy the beautiful scenery.

After setting up the camera with a tripod for many times, don't move, shoot many times, and finally stack all the fireworks into one photo, and the sky becomes a gorgeous fireworks sky.
