In the future, Euler will accelerate the incubation of innovative projects in the field of basic software, accelerate technology landing and production verification, and explore the development of super-large open source projects. At present, Euler has a total of 650 + enterprises to join, more than 12000 + contributors, and has formed 99 SIG groups.

Up to now, the cumulative installed capacity of Euler has exceeded 3 million sets, the market share of Chinese server operating systems has increased by more than 25%, and the number of global downloads has exceeded 1 million. Euler has built the key technological foundation and innovation mechanism; has been deployed in the core systems of various industries; and has opened up the complete industrial chain ecology of processors, machines, OSV and ISV.

At the same time, the new community committee was unveiled, and academician Liao Xiangke of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Wang Huaimin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences formally accepted the appointment as a member of the Euler Advisory Committee. The conference officially launched the operating system construction service for the full scene, as well as the technology and demonstration of a number of joint innovation scenarios, and looked forward to Euler's future technological vision.

CTOnews.com learned that openEuler is an operating system for digital infrastructure, which supports server, cloud computing, edge computing, embedded and other application scenarios, supports diverse computing, and is committed to providing a secure, stable and easy-to-use operating system. By providing deterministic guarantee capability for applications, it supports OT domain applications and the integration of OT and ICT.

In November 2021, Huawei announced that it would donate Euler system and donate all the code to the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation. This marks the evolution of Euler from founding enterprise-led open source projects to industrial co-construction and community autonomy. Huawei said it will continue to focus on root technology input and comprehensively lay out the operating system, database, AI framework, programming language, compiler and other basic software.
