CTOnews.com, December 31, we already know that AMD plans to divide its Ryzen 7000 series processors for laptops into multiple models according to different microarchitectures, but AMD does not publicly list its Ryzen 7000 series CPU based on Zen 3.

Last week, Lenovo released a product configuration table that exposed the parameters of the AMD Auron 7030U series processors. Existing users have found that AMD officially mentions the names of its Ryzen 7030 series and Ryzen Pro 7030 series of mobile processors in a file covering Spectre Variant 2 vulnerabilities.

In September, AMD revealed that it would sell CPU based on different microarchitectures in the same generation, starting with the Ryzen 7000 series processors for laptops, to provide wider product line coverage. As a result, the Ryzen 7000 notebook processor family will include various models based on Zen 2, Zen 3, and Zen 4 micro-architectures.

As far as we know, the processors based on Zen 2 core include Ryzen 37320U and Ryzen 57520U, while the Zen 3 processors used in mid-range notebooks are called Ryzen 7030 series, code-named "Rembrandt", and contain Zen 3 core and RDNA 2 kernel display.

In addition, the most high-end Dragon Range and Phoenix APU will belong to the Ryzen 7040 series and will use the Zen 4 kernel and RDNA 3-based kernel.

In terms of specifications, the 7030U series is available in R3, R5 and R7 models, which are 4 cores, 6 cores and 8 cores, respectively, and R7 and R5 are both Boost frequencies of 4.5GHz. Its verification is still expected to be Vega series, the highest specification is 8CU.

CTOnews.com learned that AMD had previously launched 5000U vests, such as the R7 5825U. In terms of parameters, R7 5825U is an 8-core 16-thread with the highest 4.5GHz, which is the same as that of R7 7730U.
