CTOnews.com, December 30 (Xinhua) Samsung is releasing Android 13 updates to all three versions of Galaxy XCover Pro phones around the world. Android 13 / One UI 5.0) updates and security patches for December 2022 will be available for both the unlocked and Canadian versions of the phones. The international version of Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro recently received an update to Android 13 and a security patch for November 2022, and is now getting a security patch for December 2022.

The latest updates for the US carrier unlocked version (SM-G715U1) and the Canadian version (SM-G715W) Galaxy XCover Pro are firmware versions G715U1UEUFDVKA and G715WVLUAEVK9, respectively. Both updates bring security patches for Android 13, One UI 5.0, and December 2022. The international version of the device is getting an update to the firmware version G715FNXXSAEVL2. It brought a December 2022 security patch and fixed 93 security vulnerabilities.

All Galaxy XCover Pro users are starting to get updates. Users can manually check for updates by going to the Settings software update and clicking download and install.

Samsung's Galaxy XCover Pro phone was launched in 2020 and runs on One UI 10. Samsung has promised to provide three major Android operating system updates for the smartphone. As a result, Android 13 is the last major software update for the device. However, Samsung will continue to push security updates to the phone within two years.
