CTOnews.com, December 30 (Xinhua)-- Samsung's One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 is in full swing, and most of the phones it supports are already running the latest Android version. Samsung is about to end the update and promotion of Android 13. Although the rollout went well, some Fitbit Charge 5 and Fitbit Luxe users reported synchronization problems after the One UI 5.0 upgrade.

According to multiple user reports, the synchronization process between Fitbit Charge 5 and Fitbit Luxe will suddenly stop on Samsung Galaxy devices, especially Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold phones running One UI 5.0. Other devices can operate successfully, but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold phones have problems after upgrading One UI 5.0.

CTOnews.com learned that Fitbit officially acknowledged the problem after several users asked questions. A Fitbit moderator said that they have identified the root cause of the error Bug and are working on a fix that will be released sometime in early 2023.

The Fitbit moderator has also proposed a temporary solution during which users can use different phones, use Fitbit applications, and try to synchronize Fitbit Charge 5 or Fitbit Luxe watches. For some users, the updated version of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, F711BXXU3DVL9 / F711BOXM3DVL9 / F711BXXU3DVL9, released on December 23, also seems to solve the problem.

Commonly used solutions, such as resetting the device, clearing the application cache, reinstalling the application, and so on, do not help users solve the synchronization problem.
